# Energy regulator NERSA has approved Sasol Gas’ application for maximum gas prices covering the next two financial years. The approved maximum gas price for end-user customers is 97-rand-31-cents per gigajoule for the first quarter of 2026/27, while traders and resellers will pay a maximum of 92-rand-44-cents. Spokesperson Charles Hlebela says a quarterly price adjustment mechanism will remain in place until March 2028, with an increase above ten-percent requiring written approval:
