NERSA approves petroleum pipeline licence amendments in KwaZulu-Natal

# The National Energy Regulator of South Africa has approved amendments to petroleum pipeline licences in KwaZulu-Natal. The changes involve removing crude oil infrastructure from the joint licence of Sasol Oil and TotalEnergies. This follows TotalEnergies’ sale of its Natref refinery stake to Prax South Africa. Additionally, a new combined licence has been granted to Sasol Oil and Prax SA for operations at Prospecton and Island View. NERSA says these decisions aim to ensure continuity and security in South Africa’s petroleum supply chain.
