# The National Treasury will launch the MzansiXchange Pilot today, led by Director-General Duncan Pieterse. The initiative aims to create a secure, and citizen-centred data exchange platform to enhance evidence-based policymaking and real-time data verification between government departments. It forms part of South Africa’s MyMzansi digital transformation roadmap. Partners include Statistics South Africa, Home Affairs, the Presidency, SARS, NSFAS, SASSA, and several key government and research institutions.
