# The National Transmission Company South Africa has announced that interim CEO Segomoco Scheppers will conclude his secondment and return to Eskom. Scheppers, who led the company’s operationalisation since July 2024, was instrumental in establishing the company as a wholly owned Eskom subsidiary. In a statement, the company says that while he was shortlisted for the permanent role, the board has yet to appoint a successor. A formal announcement regarding the interim CEO is expected soon.
