Motorsport: Ramaphosa congratulates Rwanda for bringing F1 back to Africa

# Motorsport: President Cyril Ramaphosa has congratulated Rwandan president Paul Kagame and his government on securing a ten-year agreement to host the Formula One African Grand Prix. Rwanda will join the calendar in the early 2030s. Ramaphosa has described the deal as recognition of the country’s capabilities to host major sporting events. He adds that as host of the first Grand Prix on African soil in 1993, and organiser of other major global events, South Africa will be happy to provide any support to Rwanda.
