# Suspended Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department deputy chief Julius Mkhwanazi and the metro’s city manager, Kagiso Lerutla’s court case was postponed to 2 July in the Boksburg Regional Court in Gauteng. The postponement will allow for further legal processes and disclosure of evidence. Both accused remain on bail. They face charges of fraud, corruption and defeating the ends of justice linked to an alleged impersonation scheme dating back to 2019.
