# The Ministry of Electricity and Energy says the South African Renewable Energy Masterplan will drive industrialisation and skills development in the renewable energy sector. Launched during the Africa Green Hydrogen Summit in Cape Town last week, the plan aims to support local manufacturing, grow battery storage value chains, and promote inclusive participation in the energy transition.
