Mashatile says government is implementing interventions to address rampant police corruption [SOUND]

# Deputy president Paul Mashatile says the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security Cluster is implementing corrective actions to detect and prevent corruption in the South African Police Service. This is amidst damning revelations at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, which has resulted in several arrests and suspensions in recent months. Mashatile told the National Council of Provinces yesterday that dedicated teams continue to investigate SAPS officials who have been implicated in the commission, with a specialised task team handling disciplinary cases:
