# EFF leader Julius Malema has dismissed president Cyril Ramaphosa’s objection to the Impeachment Committee’s evidence leader, saying he is “second-guessing” the committee’s democratic processes to delay it. In a letter, Ramaphosa rejected the appointment of advocate Thandazani Madonsela, citing conflicts of interest. The committee voted 19-5 to postpone the appointment of the evidence leader and to seek legal review of Ramaphosa’s letter.
