The project aims to enhance transport efficiency and economic growth. Plans include restructuring Transnet Freight Rail and boosting freight movement via rail. Duma emphasised the strategic role of Durban and Richards Bay ports, with a Freight Indaba planned to engage industry stakeholders on future developments.
