# KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Thulasizwe Buthelezi, has commended the political killings task team for restoring public confidence following the conviction of Richmond hitman Sabelo Phewa. Phewa was handed two life sentences for the 2017 murders of Richmond municipal manager Sibusiso Sithole and businessman Amos Ngcobo. The department’s Senzelwe Mzila says the team’s work shows justice is being served and sends a clear message against politically motivated violence:
