Kropz enters Nanophos market with focus on South African agriculture

# South African phosphate producer Kropz says its Nanophos product could offer farmers a cheaper and more sustainable alternative to traditional fertilisers. According to the company, Nanophos is a natural phosphate product containing calcium and silica, which can improve soil health and support plant growth. Kropz plans to increase production at its Elandsfontein site in the Western Cape to 180-thousand tonnes a year. Nanophos could cost about 50-percent less than traditional phosphate fertiliser and could also create jobs.
