# An Israeli air strike on Gaza hit the home of a paediatrician and killed nine of her ten children. The Nasser hospital in the city of Khan Younis where she works says one of Dr Alaa al-Najjar’s children and her husband were seriously injured but survived. The Gaza health ministry said on X the al-Najjars’ family house was hit minutes after her husband Hamdi had returned home after driving his wife to work. At least 74 people had been killed by the Israeli military over the 24 hour-period before about midday on Saturday.
