# Israel says it supports US president Donald Trump’s decision to suspend strikes against Iran for two weeks, but emphasised the ceasefire does not include Lebanon. This contradicts mediator Pakistan’s statement confirming that the ceasefire did include Lebanon. The Israeli Defence Forces’ attacks on Lebanon since the start of the war have killed more than one-thousand-500 people, including 130 children. Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office says Israel also supports the US effort to ensure that Iran no longer poses a nuclear, missile and terror threat.
