# Iran’s Foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, says that any interference in its management of the Strait of Hormuz will escalate tensions. This comes after the US conducted new strikes on Tehran, following a drone attack on a Panama-flagged vessel in the Strait on Saturday. In retaliation, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched missiles and drones at US infrastructure in Kuwait and Bahrain. Araghchi says that under the agreement signed with America, the Strait will return to its pre-war capacity within 30 days under Iran’s exclusive management.
