# The International Trade Administration Commission has reduced the domestic discount on ferrous scrap from 30-percent to 25-percent. Chief commissioner Ayabonga Cawe says the modest changes to South Africa’s scrap metal pricing system follows 13 months of review and aims to balance competing interests in the sector.
