# The Impeachment Committee has voted to oppose the EFF’s Western Cape High Court challenge to its decision to rescind the recommendation of advocate Thandazani Madonsela as evidence leader. The African Legal Professionals Association has also launched a similar legal challenge. Nineteen committee members voted in favour of opposing the legal challenges, while nine voted against the motion.
