# The Industrial Development Corporation has reaffirmed its support for black-owned enterprises following allegations over its lending practices. CEO Mmakgoshi Lekhethe told a media briefing black businesses make up about 60-percent of its funding portfolio. The institution acknowledged challenges faced by some companies but warned against generalising isolated cases. Trade, Industry and Competition minister Parks Tau says the IDC is evolving to drive industrial growth, partnerships and job creation across key sectors.
