# The International Criminal Court has charged former Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte with three counts of crimes against humanity. The 80-year-old is accused of being an indirect co-perpetrator in the murders of over 76 people during his so-called “war on drugs” between 2013 and 2018. Duterte has been held in a detention facility in the Netherlands since March.
