# Firefighters are battling a blaze that broke out in the Imizamo Yethu informal settlement in Hout Bay this morning. The City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Service responded and deployed additional resources, including an incident management team. Rescue services spokesperson Jermaine Carelse says crews have divided the fireground into two operational zones to contain the flames and prevent further damage:
