# Heavily armed police officers have raided the home of suspended Crime Detection deputy national police commissioner, Shadrack Sibiya, in Centurion, Gauteng. The search-and-seizure operation is linked to corruption allegations and claims of criminal infiltration within the police. The raid comes just a day after KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi told Parliament that investigations into Sibiya’s alleged misconduct were ongoing.
