# Agriculture minister Willie Aucamp has announced that plans are underway to increase the number of extension officers supporting farmers across South Africa. During this year state of the nation Adress, president Cyril Ramaphosa announced plans to deploy ten-thousand extension officers to help farmers boost food production and create jobs for young graduates.
