# The Electricity and Energy Department is revising the Electricity Pricing Policy as power has become unaffordable for households and businesses. Presenting the summer outlook, Electricity and Energy minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa warned that rising tariffs erode disposable incomes and hurt competitiveness.
