# The GOOD Party is calling on Cape Town mayoral committee member for Urban Mobility, Rob Quintas, to urgently find 12-million-rand to prevent drastic cuts to the Dial-a-Ride service from 8 September. The service, which has operated since the late 1990s, assists thousands of disabled residents. GOOD Party’s Roscoe Palm warns that planned restrictions would exclude over one-thousand vulnerable users. He says in a 70-billion-rand municipal budget, the shortfall is minimal but the human cost is immense.
