Gauteng Grade 10 learner dies after alleged consuming snacks from spaza shop in Orange Farm [SOUND]

# Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane is urging learners, parents and community members to be vigilant when purchasing food items and to avoid purchasing from unauthorised food vendors. Education spokesperson Steve Mabona says this follows the tragic passing of a Grade 10 learner from the Orange Farm Secondary School, who died after having allegedly consumed snacks bought from a spaza shop near her home:
