# Gauteng households face a week of load reduction cuts from 7 to 14 September. According to Eskom’s schedule, power will be cut daily between 05:00 to 09:00 and 17:00 to 22:00. Today areas including Vereeniging, Sharpeville and Sebokeng were cut in the morning, while Orange Farm, Stretford Ext 2, Sharpeville, Sebokeng and Zonkizizwe, Protea South, Chiawelo, Protea North, and Nooitgedacht are due in the evening. Eskom says the cuts will rotate across Soweto, West Rand, East Rand and Tshwane until Sunday.
