# Gauteng Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC, Jacob Mamabolo, has described the local government turnaround strategy as a long-term programme to rebuild municipalities and restore public confidence. The strategy is aimed at strengthening governance, financial recovery, infrastructure protection and service delivery.
