# Deputy minister of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment, Bernice Swarts, says the department is pursuing the coordination and implementation of the National Greening Programme. The programme supports the Medium Term Development Plan, which includes driving inclusive growth and job creation, and tackling the high cost of living, by integrating fruit trees into food security efforts.
