Food inflation eases for third consecutive month [SOUND]

# Statistics South Africa has revealed annual inflation for food and non-alcoholic beverages has eased for a third consecutive month, falling to 2.9-percent last month from 3.6-percent in March. Six of eleven food categories recorded lower rates, with meat showing the biggest decline from 11.6-percent in March to 9.4-percent in April.
