# The Ethiopian capital of Addis-Ababa is hosting the United Nations Climate Week. It brings together government officials, financiers, including development banks, businesses, civil society, and Indigenous Peoples, to help speed up delivery of pledges and climate actions on the ground. UN Climate Change deputy executive secretary, Noura Hamladji, says Climate Weeks aim to connect the international climate process to people’s daily lives and to real economies. Climate Week will feed into the second Africa Climate Summit next week.
