Ethics committee recommends 15-day suspension for NCC leader over vulgar Facebook rant

# Parliament’s joint committee on Ethics and Members’ Interests has recommended the suspension of National Coloured Congress leader Fadiel Adams for 15-days and a salary cut. The committee says Adams brought Parliament into disrepute with a racist, sexist and derogatory video posted on Facebook. According to News24, in the clip, he attacked a DA member who accused him of attending a gangster’s funeral and accused Cape Town mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis of fuelling violence. The National Assembly will decide on the matter.
