# Eight people, including two Boeing employees, have been killed in a B-52 bomber crash shortly after take-off from Edwards Air Force Base, northeast of Los Angeles. This is the deadliest crash involving a B-52 bomber since 1982. The Deputy Commander of the US Air Force, Colonel James Hayes, says the B-52 bomber was performing a test supporting the radar modernisation programme.
