EFF Gauteng welcomes a breakthrough in the murder case of Ekurhuleni auditor Mpho Mafole

# The EFF in Gauteng has welcomed the arrest of a suspect in connection with the murder of Ekurhuleni Corporate and Forensic Audit Department head, Mpho Mafole. He was shot dead in Kempton Park last month. Mafole had been investigating a mysterious two-billion-rand revenue shortfall from the metro’s electricity accounts. Police are also looking for the suspect’s alleged co-conspirator. The EFF has commended the police in conducting a speedy investigation, saying there are too many cold cases in the province as a result of incompetence, corruption, and under-capacitation.
