# Gold producer DRDGold has reported a strong financial performance for the 2026 financial year. Its operating profit rose by 83-percent to eleven-billion-rand, while headline earnings increased by 89-percent to four-billion-rand. Gold production reached four-thousand-839 kilograms, above its target. The company says more than five-billion-rand invested in its vision 2028 growth programme is beginning to deliver, with new infrastructure coming online. The company ended the year with three-billion-rand in cash and no debt.
