# The chairperson of the South African National AIDS Council, deputy president Paul Mashatile, will lead the national World TB Day commemoration and launch the end tuberculosis campaign on Monday, at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre in KwaZulu-Natal. The campaign aims to significantly reduce tuberculosis incidence and deaths by 2035. The council’s Nelson Dlamini says the campaign will focus on increasing awareness, improving healthcare access, and implementing more effective treatments:
