# Deputy minister of Water and Sanitation, Sello Seitlholo, has criticised the Kai !Garib Local Municipality in the Northern Cape for failing to implement remedial actions to address its poor water and sanitation services. The latest Blue and Green Drop regulatory assessments indicate that water and sanitation services within the municipality have regressed to a critical state. Seitlholo says the department has commenced a feasibility study for the proposed Kakamas Bulk Water Supply Project to address water concerns within the municipality:
