# The Durban University of Technology is gearing up to host day two of the Climate Change and Economic Management for a Sustainable Future Conference today. The event is tackling the global economic impact of climate change. Amongst the sub-themes being explored include strategies for sustainable economic development in the face of climate change, finance and investment, mitigation and technological advancements in combating climate change. Keynote speakers include Germany’s Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University’s professor Cristina Trois, and Earthlife Africa Johannesburg director, Makoma Lekalakala.
