# The DA Students Organisation says it strongly objects to the proposed amendments to the National Credit Act, which would empower educational institutions to submit student debt to credit bureaus. The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition maintains that the proposed amendments are aimed at strengthening the way credit providers, credit bureaus, and consumers interact in the financial environment.
