# The DA in the Western Cape says the province is set to have a record-breaking summer tourism season that will contribute massively to job creation. International visitors spent 22.7-billion-rand in 2024 in the province, while domestic travellers contributed a further 18.6-billion-rand to the March period. The DA’s Noko Masipa says the province is now connected to 30 destinations via 25 airlines, with an eleven-percent year-on-year increase in seat capacity for the November:
