# The DA has praised the Home Affairs Department for dramatically improving visa turnaround times. The processing of critical skills visas in time rose from 52-percent to 89-percent, business visas from 61-percent to 97-percent, and general work visas from ten-percent to 98-percent. The DA’s Adrian Roos says the Trusted Tour Operator Scheme attracted 40-thousand tourists and created three-thousand jobs, boosting economic growth, efficiency and shows strong leadership:
