# The DA says Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane must declare a provincial state of disaster after devastating floods have killed at least 70 people. Hundreds of families are homeless, and damage to homes, schools, and hospitals is extensive, while 500-thousand residents remain without electricity.
