# DA leader John Steenhuisen has paid tribute to former KwaZulu-Natal party leader Roger Burrows, describing him as one of the most relatable human figures he has ever encountered in public life. Burrows passed away following a lengthy illness. He served as a member of Parliament, a KwaZulu-Natal Legislature member, and later a member of the executive council during the coalition government with the IFP in the early 2000s.
