# DA leader Geordin Hill-Lewis says the party’s by-election victory in Emfuleni shows it can win in any community and deliver effective service. Speaking in Evaton, Hill-Lewis said DA teams had already begun clearing illegal dumping as part of visible service delivery work. He emphasised that recent wins in Emfuleni and Rustenburg demonstrate growing trust in the party. Hill-Lewis added that the DA is building toward governing more municipalities and eventually leading national government with a focus on accountability and basic services:
