DA Gauteng warns acting appointments undermine job creation

# The DA in Gauteng says for the economy to be turbocharged, all entities responsible for job creation must operate like a well-oiled machine. The Gauteng Growth and Development Agency has 43 acting staff members ranging from top posts to lower positions, such as CEOs, chief financial officer, department managers and payroll officer. The DA’s Mike Moriarty says the provincial government’s current trend of not making permanent staff appointments affects the agency’s ability to carry out its mandate properly.
