Cricket: Proteas Women beat India to keep their World Cup hopes alive

# Cricket: An all-round performance by Marizanne Kapp powered South Africa to a six-wicket victory over India in Manchester, to keep alive their hopes of making the T20 Women’s World Cup playoffs. Kapp and Shabnim Ismail took two wickets as India were restricted to 158 for seven. In reply, Kapp scored an unbeaten 81 and shared a third-wicket partnership of 97 with Tazmin Britz, as the Proteas Women reached the target with five balls to spare. This was South Africa’s highest successful chase in a Women’s T20 World Cup.
