# Cricket: Afghanistan will be the host nation when they play India in three T20s in Delhi, India, next month. Afghanistan had mostly played their home fixtures in the United Arab Emirates since 2021 because of security concerns at home. The chairperson of Afghanistan’s Cricket Board, Mirwais Ashraf, says they believe India provides an excellent setting for the series, while the Indian board’s president, Mithun Manhas, says they are committed to supporting the growth of Afghanistan cricket. The series starts on the 13th.
