Cosatu welcomes landmark ICJ case on workers’ inalienable right to strike [SOUND]

# The Congress of South African Trade Unions has welcomed the International Court of Justice’s case in defence of workers’ inalienable right to strike. The ICJ opened hearings on Monday to determine whether the right to strike is protected under international law. This is the first time the world’s top court has been asked to weigh in on the balance between workers’ rights and employers’ interests.
