# The Congress of South African Trade Unions has presented its submission on the Revenue Laws Amendment Bill to Parliament’s Select Committee on Finance. The Bill underpins the Two Pot Pension Reforms, which have released over 56-billion-rand to 3.5-million workers since September 2024. Cosatu’s Matthew Parks says proposals include access to full savings for retrenched workers, easing tax burdens on low-income earners, education fee use, and caps on pension fund fees:
