# Cosatu says it is confident that the Public Procurement Act will withstand any constitutional court challenges. This comes as the City of Cape Town mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis, has approached the Constitutional Court to have the Act declared unlawful. He argues that several procedural requirements were not met when the legislation passed through Parliament last year.
