Communist Party of Swaziland backs French protests against cost of living

# The Communist Party of Swaziland has expressed solidarity with students, workers and young people in France protesting against the rising cost of living. The CPS raised concerns over mass arrests, the alleged targeting of minors and police action against student protesters, accusing the government of responding to public grievances with austerity and repression. It says the fight for economic justice in France is linked to broader struggles against imperialism and for democracy, drawing parallels between the challenges facing French workers and political repression under King Mswati’s government in Eswatini.
